Destress your walks... in 10 days
Walk your way to a calmer, more relaxed dog in 10 days!
Are things becoming really tricky day to day with your reactive dog?
Are you leaving every walk on the verge of tears, or fighting off that complicated mix of guilt, frustration (at your dog, yourself, the general public)?
Are you struggling to know where to get advice, and just need a clear, clinically proven approach?
Come sprint with us!
Reactivity doesn't sort itself out by walking more, and it's definitely not fixed by avoiding things.
Our dog's totes emotes behaviour is resolved through striking a really fine balance between managing:
- Exercise - so you know exactly where you're going
- Treats - so you're not just chucking sausages around
- Head space - no more feeling guilty!
- Wellbeing - a life with your dog that feels good!
This is exactly what you'll build inside Destress Your Walks: An adaptable plan that you can apply to anything a walk throws at you!
What you're looking for...
You want to know exactly what to do, where, and why... every time you clip the lead on.
You want to go from treats that work sometimes and fail you when it matters, to a reinforcement strategy built around what your dog actually wants.
You want to go from dreading every walk equally, to having a real plan for the day after a big reaction.
But at the moment...
Day to day, the walk itself is mega stressful: Lead tension, then the explosion - barking, lunging, pulling, sometimes screaming or growling.
You don't know how to read your dog day to day: whether today's walk needs to be shorter, quieter, or skipped altogether after yesterday's big reaction.
It feels like this is just what life with this dog is now, permanently. That the reactivity won't get better, only more entrenched, and that every "good day" is luck rather than progress.
You keep spending money on trainers and behaviourists who don't actually help - more cost, more conflicting advice, no more clarity.
Debbie & Babe
Did my 5 day challenge & mentorship.
Debbie: Thoughtful and caring owner! Joined my mentorship after doing my 5 day sprint and really struggling with Babe's frustration and conflict around other dogs.
Babe: 2(?)yo rescue Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
Triggers: Dogs
Influencing factors: Ongoing and multiple health problems causing chronic pain and requiring ongoing treatment and management
Jackie & Teddy
Jackie: Caring, dedicated and super empathetic!
Joined my mentorship after doing my 5 day sprint after really struggling with Teddy since he arrived at her house from Portugal. He is conflicted and generally interested in dogs but would spins, barks and lunges at them constantly and wouldn't take food!
Teddy: 1 yo Portuguese Rescue who overcame huge adversity after a really bad attack leaving him hospitalised.
Triggers: Dogs
You could keep getting up at 5am and avoiding everyone
Or...
You could get the clarity you need by creating a clear, adaptable plan which tells you exactly what to do next when you have a bad reaction, or you want to push for some progress!
This is where you see the balance creating a more predictable, more enjoyable, less stressful walk!
Days 1-5
Understanding your dogs actual struggle
Emotional basis
You'll know, for your own dog specifically, whether what's driving the reaction is fear or frustration
Reinforcement strategies
You'll have worked out what actually motivates your specific dog, not what a generic guide assumes every dog wants
Strike the balance
you'll stop seeing your dog's reactivity as random. You'll be able to point to the actual pattern in it
Days 6-10
Apply the plan and adapt it with guidance
Read your dog
You'll be able to tell the difference between a dog who's coping and a dog who's stacked, genuinely stressed and carrying it into the next walk
Adapt the plan
You'll know how to adjust duration and frequency without the guilt - whether today calls for less, and why that's not you failing your dog,
Long term planning
By the end of week two, you'll be making a real decision before every walk instead of hoping for the best!
Imagine a world where you could just step out the front door and go for a nice relaxing walk.... Magda and Maple went all in doing the 5 day sprint before they did my mentorship programme and the basis was all there from 5 days!
I'm here to reassure you that this could be you!

Hi it’s me Hels ☺️
When I was 19 I found myself with a really tricky dog. He used aggressive behaviour towards other dogs out of the house and our other dogs at home. It was really hard to handle, super isolating and I was so lost with this behaviour.
I found my way towards retraining as a Clinical Animal Behaviourist and dedicated my life to helping owners never have to feel the way that I did.
I proudly mentor owners of barky, lungy and reactive dogs from all over the country to better handle their dogs, have a clear strategy and work consistently towards resolving these feelings to be able to enjoy the dogs they've brought into their homes.
I want to help you live the life you and your dog both deserve and want!
I want you to feel confident, prepared and know exactly what you're doing every time you take your dog out.
Much love,
Hels

- Create a life with your dog that feels sustainable, not incrementally getting smaller.
Who's it for?
You already have a name for what your dog does - barking, lunging, growling, reacting on walks or to specific triggers. You already recognises your dog is a bit toes emotes.
You are exhausted by conflicting advice.
You've read the alpha/e-collar stuff, the positive only stuff, and a behaviourist's stuff that was so technical that you didn't understand what heck you were supposed to be doing.
You want structure from someone qualified, not another opinion to add to the pile.
You're carrying the emotional weight of it: the 5am walks to avoid the neighbours, the guilt that you've somehow failed their dog.
If you're dog's reactivity is real and disruptive: moderate to significant reactivity to dogs, people, noises or specific triggers out of the house.
You owners that like structure and want to understand the why as well as the what to do.
You'll come away with....
Your dog, one plan, not a script everyone else is using.
A framework, not a quick fix. A clear adaptable plan you're confident in.
Guilt free walks that you can actually start to enjoy.

FAQ's
My dog isn't aggressive will this work for them?
YES, yes, double yes!! This is exactly for you because your dog will really benefit from some early intervention.
Frustration can turn to aggression and this is such a good way to get ahead of that!
When do we kick off?
The Sprint kicks off on September 21st, and will run until the 9th October (this includes the extra implementation time in case you need to catch up).
When are the live calls?
There are two optional live calls (one per week), they’ll be on:
Thursday 24th September 7pm UK Time
Thursday 1st October 7pm UK Time
These live calls are a chance to get together and ask questions, get advice, get feedback, and stay motivated. If you can’t make them live, you won’t be missing any of the actual sprint content! They will be recorded.
Will this fix everything?
No, it won't! I'll always be honest about that. This will give you an adaptable framework to try and do things yourself to the best of your ability.
If you want long term support you may want to consider my intensive mentorship.
I'm not sure if my dog is reactive. Is this for me?
Well... tbh if you're here because your dog is stressing out your walks then you are probably dealing with something that this sprint will help with.
Drop me an email at hels4dogs@gmail.com and I'll give you an honest take on whether it's for you or you need something else.
I'm really busy, what if I fall behind?
This sprint is designed to help you learn about your dog with micro-movements. Tasks, lessons you can listen to with learning happening as you go. You can fall behind and STILL build your plan. And you’ll have the implementation period after the core two weeks to catch up, plus access to the trainings.
Let's get you the confidence and guilt free walks you deserve and crave!
