Helena Woodfield
Hi it’s me Hels ☺️
I'm here to help you and your dog succeed in living the life you always imagined.
Join me in the dog behaviour transformation and see for yourself how simple change can affect your relationship with your dog.
I am advocating for a movement towards you as an owner, being able to consider your dog holistically and as the wonderfully emotional and varied individual that they are.
I have been in your shoes and know what living with an emotionally complex dog is like. Let me help you to live a stress free life with your dog.
Sincerely,
Helena

I have extensive experience of training working, pet and rescue dogs, both in kennels and in the home environment. My training ethos is relationship based, with a focus on building trust and consent aiming to formulate safe, simple, creative solutions for handlers to implement for those dogs who need a more tailored approach.
I have a keen interest in the safe rehabilitation of dogs with anxiety and aggression issues; and the training of high drive working breeds both as working dogs and home based pets. I have trained working, pet and rescue dogs, in appropriate settings to help them reach their goals and meet their training needs.
I have worked at the largest dog rescue charity in the country and lead their behaviour team at the largest centre they operate. This means I have a wealth of experience to share when it comes to you and your dog.
I am a provisional member of the APBC - Provisional members have demonstrated that they have the appropriate level of Knowledge and Understanding for the professional role of Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CAB). They are now gaining the practical experience necessary to be assessed as a CAB and therefore become a Full member of the APBC. The APBC supports its Provisional members undertaking behaviour consultations.
