Welcome to my blog: Hels4Dogs
I want this platform to be a go to for resources, for support, for advocacy for kind and humane methods of dog training.
The idea is a positive but informed approach to training how our dogs behave, and a reflective approach to how our actions may influence their's. This is a movement towards considering our dogs holistically and as the wonderfully emotional and varied individuals they are.
Consider this platform a subversion of the typical good vs bad tropes we hear so much of and an evolution towards expanding the vocabulary of owners everywhere!
This platform will offer a place to go when you are confused about what your trainer or dog professional is saying, if you're not quite sure whether what you're doing is totally right, or if you just want to understand a training concept a bit better. Our posts, q&a sessions, fluid approach to accessing information will fill the gap that has been created by the divisive approaches to dog training.
As I build resources, I want you as owners to feel your biggest worries and questions are answered, no matter how big or small you fear they may be.
To help tackle the issue...
I’m offering in person sessions, zoom and virtual advice, q&a’s, support, a listening ear, and a science based and informed approach to keeping your household happy and your dog’s tail waggy. We’ll be answering all the why’s around dog behaviour and help owners support their dogs. To help target our content, just get in touch via our page and let us know what you want answering.
Look forward to hearing from you!
