There is a side of reactive dog ownership that nobody ever really talks about.
- The side that is emotionally draining and challenging for you.
- The side that leaves you isolated and alone.
- The side that leaves you unable to plan.
We love our dogs but sometimes, when they are so stressed, overwhelmed, and react to every aspect of life, we find ourselves at the end of our tethers.
The urge to give them up, or as I've heard more than once from owners: to open the front door and pretend you don't notice them run out.
I see you and I hear you!
It might feel wrong to say these things out loud, it might feel wrong to be thinking these things in the first place... but just know that I hear you.
I can offer you the opportunity to feel differently. The opportunity to work with someone that really does get it, is actually genuinely judgement free, and will work with you to get the results you want.
There is a different side to dealing with a dog that is emotionally challenging:
- The side where we understand their problems.
- The side where we can give them what they need
- The side where everyday doesn't feel like a struggle
If this sounds like you, please get in touch! I can and want to help you.
There are options, there are ways forward and I'm here for you!
